I am interested in trading a JD855 with model 70A loader which has less than 120 hours. I have been looking at the Kubota B2710 with matched loader. The local dealer is offering $12,500 for my rig and is asking $16,700 for his. Sounds kind of steep. Any thoughts ??

I bought a John Deere 855 with Loader in Dec, 1998. Since that time I have had a power steering leak, the main rear seal has had to be replaced, 4 trips to the shop to repair the loader hydraulics, and twice the battery has had such severe corrosion it ate through the cables. John Deere aparently has no buy-back policy and the dealer won't offer any help other than to do the required warranty work. Does anyone have any suggestions on what can be done with a "Lemon" tractor or has anyone had similar problems ?
